Silver Lake Park sits just off Ocean Ave, close enough to the beach that it's an easy add-on to a beach day. It's centered around the lake itself, with a walking path along the water, geese and ducks to keep your dog interested, and a large playground area for kids. It's not a big park, more of a nice loop and a place to sit by the water than a place to spend hours, but leashed dogs are welcome throughout.
