Dog policy Off-Leash

Vernon Dog Park is a community-built, donation-supported dog park with separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. Both sections have double-gated entrances, open grass for running, and shaded seating around the edges. The park is maintained by D.O.G.S. of Vernon, the local nonprofit that helped build it and continues to handle much of its upkeep.

Poop bags are stocked around both fenced areas, and shared water bowls are available, but there is currently no running water hookup, so bringing water for your dog is a good idea. Toys are allowed for dogs that are comfortable sharing them, while food, treats and rawhide are kept out of the fenced areas to reduce resource guarding.
