The park has a spacious setup with plenty of open grass and dirt areas for dogs to run. Benches are scattered throughout the park in shaded areas. The park has a dual-purpose water fountain for humans and dogs.

Know before you go

  • Visitors must obtain a gate entry card and dog park tag, requiring proof of a valid dog license or rabies certificate.
  • Passes are free for Barnegat Light residents, and for non-residents the annual fee is $30 and the weekly fee is $15.
  • Applications for the passes can be obtained at Borough Hall, the Beach Badge Booth (in season) or on the Borough website
  • Pack a towel; it can get muddy
