Beaver Dam Creek is a nicely varied park, a self-guided nature trail that starts on a boardwalk through tidal marsh and wetlands, then transitions to a dirt path around an open field that doubles as an on-leash dog area. It's a short trail, more of a scenic walk than a real hike, but the marsh views and wildlife spotting make it worth the trip. Beyond the trail, there are soccer and softball fields, tennis and basketball courts, two playgrounds, a picnic pavilion, and public restrooms
