Campgaw Mountain Reservation offers marked hiking trails at several difficulty levels through 1,373 acres of woods. It draws far fewer visitors than nearby Ramapo Reservation, which makes it a calmer pick for dogs who do better with space.

The park also holds a disc golf course, an archery range, picnic areas, and a small ski area that runs in winter.
