Double Trouble State Park offers more than eight miles of official trails through one of the area’s most distinctive landscapes. Sandy roads and paths pass old cranberry bogs, reservoirs, cedar swamp and the tea-colored waters of Cedar Creek.

Many routes are relatively flat, making the park accessible for dogs comfortable with longer distances. The former company village adds a historic element, with preserved buildings from the property’s lumber and cranberry-growing past.

The park protects more than 8,000 acres, so parts of the trail system feel remote. Dogs must remain leashed and may not enter historic buildings
