Duke Island Park sits between the Raritan River and the old power canal, with paved walking and biking paths, unpaved trails by the water, and big open fields. A trail links the park to the dam and falls upstream.

Picnic groves, gazebos, and a large playground make it a full family outing, with plenty of parking spread across four lots.
