The Edgar Felix Bikeway follows an old rail line through some of Wall Township's most wooded stretches, running from near Allaire State Park toward Manasquan. It's flat and paved, with a small lake along the way, and it's popular with walkers, runners, cyclists and dog owners.

The Baileys Corner Road lot is a convenient access point if you want an out-and-back walk of any length.

Know before you go

  • Shared with cyclists, so keep dogs on a short leash and to the side.
  • Fallen leaves can hide the pavement edge in autumn.
