Built around a lake, the Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve offers something rare for South Jersey: elevation. Trails climb to overlooks above the water and drop back to the shoreline, with benches spaced along the way.

The lower loop around the lake runs roughly 1.5 miles and suits most dogs and walkers. Side trails branch off for a longer outing, and the paths are shared with cyclists.
