Elmwood Park Zoo is home to jaguars, red pandas, zebras, giraffes, and more across 16 acres. It's genuinely unusual among zoos in regularly allowing dogs: Dog Days run Mondays and Sundays, and Yappy Hours pop up on select dates throughout the year with food and drink specials.

Know before you go
