Fisherman's Cove feels quieter and more natural than the nearby boardwalk towns. The sandy riverbank, marsh views, and short walking paths make it especially good when the water is part of the point.

Know before you go

  • During the beach season when Manasquan parking fees are in effect, there are a limited number of free parking spaces reserved for visitors to the Conservation Area. These spaces are signed and are located at the south end of the gravel parking lot. Enter Manasquan’s parking lot at the intersection of Third Avenue and Pompano Avenue. Continue through the paved lot to the overflow area. There is a two-hour limit on the designated, free parking spaces.
  • Bring flip-flops or other footwear, as there tends to be lots of shells and particles in the sand
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times
