High Point State Park crowns the Kittatinny Ridge at 1,803 feet. From the monument at the top, the view takes in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania at once, and fall color here is among the best in the state.

Trails range from short loops to a stretch of the Appalachian Trail, with a moderate four-mile circuit to the monument a popular choice. Picnic tables and restrooms sit near the main lot.
