Hot Sand might be one of the most unique experiences for you and your dog in Asbury Park.
Their Hot Cast experience starts with your dog pressing a paw into a sand mold, and then the artists pour molten glass into the impression to create a solid glass paw-print keepsake. The studio is a working hot-glass shop too, with artists at the furnaces and shelves of colorful handmade glass throughout the gallery.

Know before you go

  • The dog-specific experience is called Hot Cast. Your dog presses a paw into a prepared sand mold and Hot Sand pours molten glass into the impression
  • Reservations are recommended and are the only way you are guaranteed a slot. A separate reservation is required for each Hot Cast impression
  • Finished pieces are usually ready for pickup within 7 days. Shipping options may be available as well.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required and Hot Sand recommends breathable, natural-fiber clothing because the studio can get hot
