Hurd Park was donated to the town in 1911 and has real character, a Greek-style pavilion with fluted columns, war memorials, and a stream (Jackson Brook) running through it. The real draw is spring, when the Kwanzan cherry trees along the brook bloom and draw visitors from well outside Dover
