Jamesburg Park Conservation Area feels like a slice of the Pine Barrens in central Jersey, with sandy, comfortable trails through pine and oak forest. Paths are wide and clearly blazed, and waste stations are posted for dog walkers.

The lakeside area has benches and a playground, while the trails across the road head deeper into the woods.
