Kaaterskill Falls drops in two tiers into a deep clove in the Catskills and was a favorite subject of Hudson River School painters.

From the Laurel House Road lot, a firm gravel path leads 0.3 miles to a viewing platform. A steeper 0.7-mile trail continues down to the pools at the base of the falls.
