Lake Shenandoah is an easy place to forget you’re still in Lakewood once you get down by the water. Tall oaks and pines surround the lake, with walking paths following the shoreline past fishing piers, wooded stretches, and quieter pockets away from the sports fields. It’s especially nice for a relaxed dog walk when you want some scenery without driving far or committing to a real hike. The park also has picnic areas, a playground, fishing access, and a boat launch.
