Laurelwood Arboretum is a 30-acre public garden in Wayne with a mix of wooded paths and more carefully planted garden areas. Gravel trails pass rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, native plants, rock gardens, two ponds, small streams, and open stretches of lawn, so the scenery changes quite a bit as you move through the property. A sculpture trail is woven into the grounds as well, with 14 works placed along the paths.

Dogs can come along for the entire walk as long as they stay leashed and on the paths or roadways
