Lenape Park is a natural area more than a manicured park. A paved path runs along a raised berm with open views over wetlands and fields, then dips into the woods, continuing through Cranford, Kenilworth, Union, Springfield, and Westfield.

It is a favorite with runners, cyclists, and birdwatchers, and it connects directly to Nomahegan Park for a longer outing.
