Memorial Park sits right on the Shark River in Neptune City. There's a small sandy beach, a raised boardwalk with benches facing the water, a playground, picnic tables (some covered), restrooms and an outdoor shower.

It's compact, so plan on a short walk. Most people come for the water views and the sunset over the river, and there's a kayak launch with paid storage if you paddle.
