Michael J. Tighe Park (formerly Liberty Oak Park) is one of the biggest township parks in Freehold, with 11 ball fields, lacrosse fields, tennis and basketball courts, and multiple playgrounds, so it draws a crowd. There's no dedicated off-leash dog area here, leashed dogs are welcome throughout the park under standard township rules. There's also a sprayground for kids in summer, a skate park, a half-mile walking track, plenty of picnic pavilions, and lots of parking, so it's an easy park to spend a few hours at if you're bringing the whole family, dog included.
