Mills Reservation is a favorite with local dog walkers. The main trail runs about a mile and a half, and a wide gravel path leads up to an overlook with a view of the New York City skyline.

Side trails are rockier and rootier for those who want more of a hike. The climb is gradual, and the trails are well marked.
