Pennington Park pairs wide paved paths with two fenced off-leash areas that sit across the road from each other, one for small dogs and one for large. Both have room to run, along with pavilions and seating.

Outside the fences, leashed dogs can walk the park's open meadows and follow the riverside trail toward Delanco. The park also has a playground, water fountains, and a public restroom.

Know before you go

  • Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated and wear a collar with ID tags
  • Handlers must be 18 or older, and children under 8 are not allowed inside the dog parks
  • Each dog park is limited to 20 dogs at a time
  • Dogs must be leashed everywhere outside the fenced areas
