Princeton Battlefield preserves the ground of the January 1777 battle, marked by a colonnade, memorials, and the historic Clarke House. The wide lawns make for a calm, open walk with plenty of room.

Paths at the edge of the fields lead into shaded woodland trails for a longer loop. Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds.
