DeKorte Park sits in the heart of the Meadowlands, with crushed-granite paths and boardwalks over the marsh. It's quiet, easy to navigate, and full of birds, including more and more regular bald eagle sightings. The Transco Trail is a highlight. You're under the Newark flight path, so expect planes overhead, which most dogs stop noticing after the first few.
