Seven Presidents is a county-run oceanfront park with a long stretch of well-kept beach. From November 1 to March 31, leashed dogs are allowed in the park and on the beach itself, a rare chance for an ocean walk in Monmouth County.

Winter visits are quiet, with open sand, big surf, and easy parking.

Know before you go

  • Pets are not permitted anywhere in the park from April 1 through October 31
  • Dogs must be leashed, including on the beach
  • Dogs are prohibited year round at the playground, skatepark, pavilion, decks, boardwalks, dunes, and habitat areas
