Sussex County Sunflower Maze, at Liberty Farm, was New Jersey's first sunflower maze and remains the premier sunflower agri-tourism destination on the East Coast, with trails cut directly into fields of over a million blooming sunflowers spanning 120+ varieties. Dogs are explicitly welcome at no extra cost, leashed and well-behaved, and the farm asks that you carry proof of an up-to-date rabies vaccine. It's a family-run operation that also sells sunflower bouquets and farm produce and hosts activities like scavenger hunts and photo ops. Shade is limited across the open fields, so bring water and a bowl for your dog.
