The Dapper Doodle started as a small pet section inside sister store Opal & Olive, inspired by shop dog Louie, before getting its own storefront a few doors down in 2025. The shop is geared toward the fun side of having a dog or cat: novelty toys, better-looking collars and leashes, bandanas and bows, treats and chews, bowls, grooming finds, beds, and plenty of things that work just as well for a pet birthday or gift as they do for everyday use.

The location is right on Arnold Avenue among the shops and restaurants of downtown Point Pleasant Beach, with Opal & Olive just a few doors away.
