If you are planning a Jersey Shore getaway with your furry best friend, the Wildwood Dog Park and Beach is an absolute must-visit, completely free destination that pups can enjoy year-round. Located right on the sand between Poplar and Glenwood Avenues, it is instantly recognizable by the iconic, 25-foot-tall giant red fire hydrant sitting by the boardwalk. The highlight of this spot is a fantastic, double-gated fenced park built directly on the beach, featuring separate areas for large and small dogs, fun agility climbing obstacles, and fresh water stations
