Opal & Olive sits along Arnold Avenue in downtown Point Pleasant Beach and carries an ever-changing mix of home décor, serving pieces, kitchen accessories, faux florals, candles, gourmet foods, and gifts. The selection has a polished coastal feel without being overly beach-themed, with plenty of pieces that work for entertaining, hostess gifts, or just finding something fun for the house.

Dogs are welcome inside on leash, and the shop is known to keep treats and fresh water available for them. The store’s own labradoodle, Louie, inspired a pet section that eventually became The Dapper Doodle, a separate dog and cat boutique just a few doors down
